Birmingham - United Kingdom
University College Birmingham (UCB) was created in 1968 and is located in the city of Birmingham, UK. It serves over 10,000 students from around 90 different countries and has built quite a reputation for its career-focused education and training. Many of the undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs, along with some higher-level apprenticeships, are accredited by the University of Warwick. UCB specialises in vocational courses in various fields, including physiotherapy, culinary arts management, aviation and tourism, finance and accounting, sports management, and more. The college has made substantial investments in its facilities, with campuses like Summer Row, Moss House, McIntyre House providing students with great places to learn and live. In December 2012, UCB was granted full university status. The institution has won several awards, including the ‘University of the Year’ in the 2022 WhatUni Student Choice Awards. What makes it a great choice for students is that it offers practical, hands-on learning experiences as it continues to grow its portfolio of apprenticeships.
